One of Nama Recordings’ most favorite producers Michael FK, teamed up with German vocalist Groundfold to deliver yet another stunning piece of art called ‘Losing Ground’. As the title suggests this EP indulges the listener into a journey across a world where there is no presence of earthly frontiers. The EP is with its wide array of beautiful composited Remixes set to break multiple boundaries of the scene and lets you think through what Chillout exactly is. The Original Mix by the Moldovan talent quickly establishes a unique and mesmerizing soundscape with soothing vocals and driving bass lines. The first Remix comes from another Nama Recordings’ regular, the Portuguese virtuoso Delectatio, who offers an amazing interpretation of the Original track. Starting off with gated pads and rhythmic drums the Remix quickly develops in a unique soundscape of multiple vocal layers. Swedish rising star, WANDAI, already showed his remix in the latest Nama Recordings album called ‘From Kyoto Blossom Seas…’. Making his Nama debut, WANDAI also known as Henrik Larsson shows his talent in a fascinating and yet unique Chill Step interpretation of the original. Last but not least, Italian N4C, shows a trap and modern classical influenced piece with a well-balanced blend of electronic and acoustic elements.
